First packages Going OUT!

Thank you to all the local supporters of Cans For Cookies US Troops!

Our first care packages are going out today! YUMMY! Peanut Fudge Brownies, SugarDrop Cookies, and Carrot Spice Pecan Raisin bars.

Also a few books were donated! The Marine's unit of Lance Corporal Joseph H. will be thrilled with these delectable treats! Have you joined up as a volunteer yet to bake and ship?

PLEASE spread the word so more men and women may receive care packages!

Many of you requested verification on mailing protocol. The US postal service DOES permit these packages of homemade goodies. They MUST be addressed to a specific individual, their full title, unit number and mailing address. It would be Lance Corporal, then their LAst NAme, first Initial, thn the FPO.

An overseas mailing slip is available at the PO. Be sure to detail the contents of what you are shipping.
The flat rate mailing box applies as these are considered AMERICAN soil FPO's. Isn't that great, so for $3.95 we can ship a small box of cookie cans, and a few personal items! WOW!
